Huch’uy Qusqu (Quechua: “Little Cusco” also called Juchuy Cusco) is an archaeological site 50 km north of Cuzco, in Peru. It is located at a height of 3,600 meters, above the town of Lamay, in the district of Calca, province of Calca, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

ONE DAY TOUR

We start early in the morning from our hotel to the Sacred Valley where Huchuy Qosqo community is located, one hour driving from Cusco, when we arrive to the community the locals will wait for us with traditional music, and warm welcome, then we will have an aromatic tea, after that we start our cooking classes by the locals, we will prepare a traditional meals, using organic local products, we will go to the farmland to harvest some products, in the afternoon we will enjoy our own food, later we will drive back home.

TWO DAYS TOUR

HUCHUY QOSQO COMMUNITY –  HIKE

First day:

We start early in the morning one hour later we have breakfast, then we start our hike for three hours to Huchuy Qosqo archeological site, four hours hike, the trail is above the Sacred Valley surrounding  the mountains,the views are incredible, and the archeological site its stunning, where our professional guide will  explain you everything about the place, around noon we will find an amazing place to enjoy our box lunch, then we walk down to huchuy Qosqo community, our arrival will  be around 16:00 , and we will get our rooms to spend the night, in the evening we are going to have our dinner preparing by local families..

Second Day:

We wake up and have breakfast then we walk to the farm land to harvest some products, then we start making our lunch,(pachamanca: is a peruvian traditional dish baked with the aid of hot stones, it is generally made of lamb, chicken, pork, marinated in herbs and spices also we put potatoes, sweet potatoes, plantain);  around noon we have our own  lunch, in the afternoon we go back home by our transportation.
