There are three different tickets to visit Machupicchu;:
- Machupicchu itself 3000 people per day
- Machupicchu and Waynapicchu mountain (45 min climb) 200 people per day
-  Machupicchu and Machupicchu mountain (2 hrs climb) 200 people per day
All tickets are limited,and worth it, but Machupicchu and Waynapicchu mountain are extra climbs.
Machupicchu itself is open from 06:00 to 17:00 hrs. The entrance tickets have time to visit, (every hour); but Waynapicchu mountain and Machupicchu mountain are open at 07:00 and 10:00. only two times a day.
When we book a Machupicchu tour we have to ask the time to visit, it has to be related with the train time departure, because if we lose the visit time of Machupicchu and date we can’t change it. To visit any option of the tours we have to show our original passport and the entrance fee. When we are in Machupicchu itself the tour is one way we can´t go back to the beginning, the approximately tour is 2 or 3 hours.
- If you book Machupicchu citadel and Waynapicchu mountain option, you will need 2 hours extra.
- If you book Machupicchu citadel and Machupicchu mountain option, you will need 4 extra hours.
How to get to Machupicchu there from Cusco?
From Cusco we take our tourist transportation to Ollantaytambo train station (1hr 45 min). Located in the Sacred Valley, then we take the train to Aguas Calientes Town (1 hr 45 min.) train schedule and service, train is the only transport to go to Aguas Calientes Town,  after we catch a bus up to the Archeological site (25 min.).
Detailed Itinerary
- Morning Departure: We start from your hotel and go to Ollantaytambo train station on the way we stop at some archeological site such as Chinchero, Ollantaytambo archeological site, and in the afternoon we take the train to Aguas Calientes to spend the night in a hotel of your preference.
- Afternoon Departure: We start from your Hotel and if we have time we can visit Ollantaytambo archeological site and then take the train to Aguas Calientes town to spend the night in a hotel of your preference.
- We start in the morning according to your ticket's entrance time, then we walk to the bus station to go up to Machu Picchu archeological site (25 min). we arrive to the entrance where we show our tickets and original passport, then we walk to the upper part of Machupicchu itself to have a great view and take pictures, after we start the tour we can go to climb one of the mountains of your booking, (Waynapicchu / Machupicchu mountain), the tour and the climb of any mountain you will be assist by our professional guide. In the afternoon we leave Machupicchu and we take the bus down to the town and have lunch there, then we take our train back to Ollantaytambo then drive to Cusco.
