Detailed Itinerary
Day 1:
- We start from your hotel in the morning, we drive to Pisaq located in the sacred Valley (one hour from Cusco) on the way we stop to enjoy the scenery and take pictures, we drive to Pisaq archeological site where our professional guide will explain and show us the impressive terraces, the biggest cemetery of the Valley and the amazing buildings, later we will back on the same route to stop at Cuyo Chico community where we have lunch make by the villagers using local products, then you will get your room in our local hostel, in the afternoon we walk up to the mountain to have a nice view of Cuyo Chico community, Pisaq´s terraces, with amazing view of the sunset, then we walk back to the community and have afternoon tea, later we will have dinner and optional fire watching the amazing starry sky and milky way.
Day 2:
- We wake up around 07:00 one hour later we have breakfast, then we walk up to the mountain to Ventanayoq (natural rock formation in the shape of window) 2hrs and a half, from that place we will have gorgeous view of the Sacred Valley of the Inkas and Vilcanota river, then we will back to the community to have lunch. In the afternoon we will go to the interpretation center where our guide will explain the clay´s selection and preparation to make the different ceramic objects such as collars, bracelets, cups, etc. then we will have the chance to make our handicraft. Later we will go back home by our transportation.
